Dialogue with the World

There are questions common to all mankind across the span of history. Every religion offers answers.  This is an educational series. We’ll take a look at some of the major world religions, hearing from some experts firsthand, as we compare the similarities and differences. You can even email your own questions to myquestion@gatewaychurch.com. The last week we will scrutinize the claims of Christianity against what Jesus claimed Himself and consider the truth of who Jesus is and the hope he offers the world.

It’s time for a check up - time for the poking, prodding and testing of your heart-soil. What’s growing in your heart these days?  .Deep healthy roots producing fruit or have you let things go a bit? -  are the weeds and the rocks  choking out what God wants to do there? Get your gardeners guide on cultivating and maintaining a healthy heart.

Be the Body to a world in crisis…

In recent weeks, natural disasters in Myanmar and China, as well as in the central portion of our own country, took many lives, created orphans, and left tens of thousands without food and shelter. Such news can feel overwhelming. Both as a church and as individuals, we want to help.  The best way we’re able to do that is through our prayers and giving. If you’d like to help with relief efforts, we recommend making donations to one of two organizations well-positioned to provide practical relief assistance, World Vision and the Red Cross:

If you’d like to receive weekly updates and prayer requests related to the situations in China and Myanmar, please email mobilization@gatewaychurch.com.

Stories Blog

As you go through life you are given the opportunity to show up in people's lives or pass by unaware. Each day we all get to make the choice whether or not to make an impact in others by serving their physical, emotional, or spiritual needs. If you've taken the opportunity to impact the lives around you, we'd like you to share your "As you go" experience with the rest of the Gateway community on our blog.
