Weddings at Gateway

Congratulations on your engagement and upcoming wedding! We are excited for you as you prepare for the amazing journey of marriage, and are honored that you want Gateway to be a part of your special day. Marriage is one of the biggest decisions you will make. It is for this reason that our emphasis at Gateway Church is not on performing weddings, but rather on preparing couples to have a healthy, life-long marriage.

Each couple married by a Gateway pastor will receive pre-marital counseling and is also required to attend the Gateway Encounter Marriage (GEM) Seminar; this seminar is offered three times per year. PLEASE NOTE: We require a 4 month lead time on all weddings. This is to ensure enough time to complete the required pre-marital counseling.

GEM Weekend

The Gateway Encounter Marriage Weekend is for couples in various stages that want to develop plans and marital wisdom for the future.  Those couples in a serious dating relationship, engaged, or married and in need of a tune up are encouraged to attend the GEM Weekend. 

The following topics are covered at each GEM Weekend.

• Spiritual Oneness
• Good $ense: abbreviated version
• Communication and Conflict Resolution
• Family of Origin
  

The cost for GEM Weekend is $100 per couple, and includes all materials and dinner Friday night. Remaining GEM Weekend dates for 2009 are:

June 19-20 (Friday, 6:00pm - 9:00pm; Saturday, 9:00am - 1:00pm)
